Has anyone worked w Torrey Massey, Bff Home Services

We are having a few retaining walls built soon. These will be 4' tall structural retaining walls, as opposed to a raised bed. Torrey Massey seems to know his stuff, and gave us a good bid. Besides checking the provided references, I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone is familiar with his work.

Asking seemed OK, providing a link looks like spam to me.

Good point, Lucille. It's been a long since I posted much here. I forgot a lot of people wouldn't know or remember me.

I'll add that we were also impressed with the knowledge of (forgot the name) of Blooming Colors in Grapevine. I've received good reports on them from people here in the past, so didn't ask this time. (We're finally getting to this project.)

Just to be fair, here's their link

Liz, I hope your project goes smoothly. Please post before and after photos, ok? I'd love to see them.

Blooming Colors did our re grading and some retaining wall work--- LOVE them! They listened and gave us exactly what we asked for.

Hubby can find something wrong with any work done on our house.. but he doesn't say a negative word about those folks.

I'll get photos up this week (can't find them - may have to take new ones) Meanwhile, someone emailed me today to ask about this, so I realize others may be curious as well.

We are very happy with their work, and the price was substantially less than other bids. Torrey has a couple of crews, but he spends his time working on the jobs as well. He doesn't have the overhead of a physical store or office, or management layers.

This was a 6' wall needed to help hold up our house, so we were particular about the quality. It also looks great.
