Produce Swap anyone?

Posted by bigtexworms (My Page) on

I was thinking of organizing a produce swap for the greater Tarrant county area.
I always have a surplus of certain fruits/veggies as do most gardeners.
Thought it might be beneficial to have a couple of swap days per month so we could trade each other for produce.

Would anyone be interested?

I would love to- however I just found out that I am 299 miles from keller- ha, think it is a bit to far for me- but wish we could get some going down me- south of SA

Hi Liz! I am in northern Tarrant and wish I had more space for vegetable gardening. I have a couple of extra cucumber plants if you need them (or just want them).

I have extra herbs and occasionally have extra jalapenos and banana peppers, all of which are grown organically. Would love to trade w/other organic gardeners. I'm in Southlake.

Sowngrow, I am in need of basil plants and have extra tomato plants. I live in Copper Canyon.

I think it's a wonderful idea but I'm still trying to figure out what I can grow successfully.
Last year I had extra peppers in November, but I'm sure that would be too late for swapping.

I have extra chocolate mint, spearmint and tomatoes right now.
Will have loads of apples in a few weeks.
All mine is organic as well.
I would be willing to trade worm castings or brewed worm compost tea for organic fruit/veggies too.
