Double Knock Out roses for $5.00 at Lowes ...

They are in one gallon containers on the sale table at the Lowes on Callahan and IH 10.

Also saw some nice bushy Rainbow Knock Outs in two gal. containers that were past their prime sitting on a gurney with other 'thread bare' looking plants. I bet they go on sale soon. If anybody sees them on the sale table please let us know. I'd like to have one.

Does anyone know if the Rainbow Knock Out is a sport of Knock Out or a new cultivar entirely?

Here is a link that might be useful: See all the Knock Outs here

RE: Incidentally ...

This is the Lowes in San Antonio at Callaghan and IH 10.

I love it how Lowes puts wilted and past prime plants on sale at a discounted price for 'rescue' rather than throwing them out. Keeps me going in there to check on the sale table and usually buying something else as well.

Yeah, they do the same thing here. But not so good of a deal. Last year one of the lowes across town did the same thing w/ tropicals. We "rescued 15 different plants. I am still nursing a majesty palm back to health and so far I am doing quite well.

I am always out for a good deal at lowes sometimes they have good deals and at other times they are not so good.
