This is most likely a juvenile or female Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

I've got one visiting that looks just like that and wondered what kind it is. I thought it was a young one just from it's size and the way it stays at the feeder so long at a time.

This is yesterday, but when he first arrived he looked like yours.

Here's the same little guy fluffed out on Wednesday when it was so cold.

I am fascinated by the changes in this hummingbird. When he first showed up, he looked exactly like lynnmarie's photo, and gradually, he has been getting darker. For the first time today, I noticed that his back is becoming green.

I thought mine looked a little darker the next day, but I haven't spotted him since. I hope he didn't leave. I even put up a feeder.
