Sweet potato greens?

Have any of you planted them? I just read that they are good eating. Would a person just use regular sweet potatoes from the grocery store? Is that the right variety?

Wikipedia has a good deal about this--I just looked it up after reading your post.

Interesting. You can even grow it with the roots in an aquarium and the vines hanging outside. I may try that.

It's late it's hot I'm tired & my brain hurts
LOL

But if I remember correctly potato leaves are in the Nightshade family & Shouldn't be eaten

But not 100% sure if that applies to sweet potatoes leaves or not???

You can grow regular grocery store sweet potatoes
They're pretty easy to grow

Pic is of one grown from a grocery store yam (red one)
Even got some potatoes from a few on mine

Now that makes me curious to plant some different varieties! I've seen some unusual ones in the Asian grocery store.
