The Clearance is starting

Just picked up 2 salvia hotlips from the pitiful plants at Lowes in Arlington. They were simply labeled salvias. Also found gaillardia fanfare. Myfriendly clerk at my local Ace reminded me that they only have a few weeks left in the spring plants so prices will start dropping there too. BTW they have a number of David Austin roses... .

Did the Ace (the one on Park Row?) or the Lowes have DA roses? I have lots of planting to do, and the weather has been cooperating for late planting! yay!

Ace has the David Austins. Don't know about the Lowes but they had a LOT of roses. Mothers Day at nurseries spells great deals now and in the near future. I hope I don't sound too much like a scavenger... C

I'm always so happy to see all those customers with carts just loaded and brimming with full-price annuals and other plants. They are all underwriting our clearance plant habit, LOL!
