Bird of Paradise, Help!

I have 4 Bird of Paradise plants. I know they aren't receiving enough sun and, I plan to move them. They have white spots on them that turn orange over time. One plant is starting to look as if it is dying. Anyone have any idea what this is and, how to treat them?

Hi, I hope you don't mind me jumping in. I believe it might be scale. There is a product called 3 in 1 or 4 in 1, it is made by Bayer, I think
I have wiped down with alcohol as well
