You need to post your zone for more help. Second you need to contact your local extension agent for information for your area.

I'm not in your zone but it's too late for spring tomatoes and strawberries are cool season too. You can likely start fall tomatoes in September. The peppers and eggplant will be fine in the heat. Not sure on potatoes and zucchini, do you get squash vine borers in your area? They will decimate a healthy squash plant and in my garden would be striking about the time the plants are big and beautiful. I've never intentionally grown potatoes just had a few small ones that grew in the compost.

I bet you could have a wonderful winter garden and grow most of the veggies that you mentioned then, but you would still be advised to check with the extension agent for very specific information about the climate and soil.

Here in the DFW area, most of my veggie gardens go dormant with the heat.

You might also find some help over at the Vegetable Garden forum. It's not Texas-specific, but there is lots of expertise there. Where in Texas are you a 10a? Must be only Brownsville that has that zone ... if that's the case, you're a fall/winter vege garden grower for sure! You can have fresh 'maters for Turkey Day and Christmas dinners - yay!
