Identify this plant please

I have seen every plant posted on here identified when asked and I have another.

I bought this about three years ago at Home Depot and have no idea what it is.

It takes alot of water, almost every day. It has flowered once with a few white flowers.

Do the flowers look like any of these or close?

You'll have to get someone's opinion of the leaf problem
I'd say it was either Mosaic or some kind of deficiency

I do not know of any "leaf problem". I guess I need a bit more information.

    Thanks for your help though.

    Is it a Magnolia?

See the blotchy leaves in the pic?

I guess I don't understand what the "blotchy leaves" means. When I bought it, most the leaves had the white lines on them but it seems they turn more green as they get older. It seems very healthy to me, It dies back if it gets too cold and simply thrives in the sun with plenty of water.

My guess is that it is a type of Codiaeum variegatum (Croton). Crotons come in many different colors and that can be one of them. The coloration of the leaves is not a pathological symptom. Codiaeums have colorful leaves.

I have never seen a darker leaf on this plant than the ones you see in the two pics. That is the biggest difference I can see compared to the pics that you offered ocgf.

Thanks a bunch for the help.

It reminds me of Carnation of India (Tabernaemontana divaricata) 'Flore Pleno'. Is this how the blooms looked?

Jolana, the ones I remember are kinda pale cream, but I guess their color varies too. See the link attached.

Mike, do the flowers of your plant look like the ones showed in the link attached (but white)?

It doesn't look like any of those pics Omar. Thanks a bunch or the help though.
Hopefully, someone will crack the mystery. If not, "oh well" it has lived with me this long!

Hmmm. Could you describe the flowers, then? Shape, number of petals, size and any other characteristic you can think of. You may also want to post your message on the "Tropical" and "Tropicalesque" forums. There might be somebody there who is familiar with the d****d plant :D.

    Jolana,
Concerning the link you provided the "Merrill" was the closest.
I am still not positive that is the plant however.

Thanks Omar. I did not set out to stump you all, I really want to know what I have.
Unfortunately, I do not belong to any other forums so we will see what happens.
Maybe I will research another forum or two.

    Thanks again,

Mike, the forums I mentioned are in the garden web too. You will only have to post this same message on their boards. I can do it for you if you want.

Besides the link I attached, you can also post your message on the following forums:
