My first thought was that it looked like parsley after a caterpillar's been after it, but I knew that couldn't be right. I don't know what it is. Sorry

it reminds me of a cosmos I have in my yard. Has it set a bloom?

It was in bloom when I took the picture. I recropped it to show the teeny tiny blooms. I don't know if it smells like dill, I don't have any dill to compare to.

PP, you scared me! I looked up dodder though & this plant has no orange in it so that's not it. I'll take it to the local nursery tomorrow & see if the owner can ID it.

Oh & I went to an Asian market today & found some dill. It has a similar smell but not quite as sharp as this weed.

It is definitely a plant with umbrel blooms. I'll be curious to find out what the flowers look like when they're more open. Are they yellow?

Well, this started bugging me, so I pulled out my Geyata Ajilvsgi book on Wildflowers of Texas. I came across common broomweed or annual broomweed and the foliage looks very similar to your photo. See the link below and google common broomweed to see other photos to see if this is your weed or flower - whichever you decide it should be.
