From what I learned after buying ONE plant last year and then looking it up online...you need TWO plants to get the flowers to set into fruit. I never did find another one, since I'd bought the last one North Haven Gardens had.

Let us know how they produce, if you find a second plant! I'd like to try them again.

I have a whole row of them planted this year, and I understand that they are very prolific. I will try to save some seed to share if they actually work out. I know that just one tomatillo has HUNDREDS of seeds, so it shouldn't be a problem.

phasv2 please do save some seeds. I think that I may have some left now that I think about it. Wonder if seeds planted now would mature soon enough?

Will do! I actually live right off of 377 on the border of Watauga and Keller, so your pretty close to my area.
I'm pretty sure they would mature soon enough...according to the information that I could find it takes 120 days to mature, so September, and we usually have hot weather until mid November. At least, that's what I'm hoping for, since I planted my tomatillos just a couple of weeks ago.
