Ruth, I have MAC, and love her, she's very healthy and grows like a weed. Give her LOTS of room! I planted mine in the complete wrong spot and have been battling it ever since, lots of pruning to try to keep her in bounds.

So glad that one is doing well for you, Ruth. This rose is a real winner in my book as she blooms so much and has few, if any, problems. I have three blooming now, and think I may just root another for out by the fence.

I train them horizontally on my chain link fence; that way they bloom better all along the laterals instead of just on top. Check out Paul Zimmerman's rose website, he has a video on how to prune climbers, also Hartwood roses has good info on pruning climbers.
