All of our Texas star (hibiscus coccineus) and the 'Disco Belle' (h. moscheutos hybrid) are back, but our two generic/native h. monscheutos did not survive our especially cold wet winter. Kind of odd how the h. monscheutos native to our area died while the non-native h. coccineus survived in the same bed.

We had a number of other plants this year that continued to show green on cut stems long after they should have sprouted, but all have since proceeded to die off. So... wish you better luck with your potted hibiscus, though am not overly optimistic.

Is the hibiscus in the pot tropical or hardy?
Both need a lot of water and fertilizer.
Try Miracle 1 TBSP Grow fertilizer & 1 TSP Epson salt per gallon of water. You should see improvement with in the week.
