Carrrrrie!

Got a question on my brugmansia - after suffering for two years in a pot with spider mite problems among other things, I finally got what I think is Charles Grimaldi in the ground, it's growing like mad, about 4' tall and seems very happy and healthy, but still no blooms. I try to faithfully fertilize twice a week, have also used a little tomato fertilizer, but nothing! Am I expecting too much too soon?
My Dr Seuss didn't make it, will have to try again later!!
