I think what you have is Scutellaria longifolia "Red Fountains". It's a pretty little thing that likes full sun. There is another color as well from what I remember that is more purple. I have two urns of the red variety and it spills over the sides as it grows taller. Quite pretty!

You're very welcome! It gets to be around 14 inches, so not very tall. I've never used it as a groundcover, but I suspect you could in the right soils. It likes moist soils, so I've always used it in containers where I could control the water. Also, I love the trailing effect over the sides of the containers. In any case, I'm glad to see it being more widely distributed since in my opinion it's definitely worth having!
