My husband keeps with the news and heard that a mosquito was trapped near Whitlock Blvd in Carrollton and it carried the disease of West Nile. I am outside almost every day and this time used a natural spray that I got from Sprouts. Happy to say the mosquitos stayed away from me today.
I bought some other spray that claims to keep off mosquitos it is called Insect Veil Spray ~Insect Discouragement~ (It does not work) I may put it in a bowl for outside on the patio and see what it does. Needless to say I will be writing the company and see if I can get my money back.
If you do get bit by insects to ward off the itch I use peppermint oil that you can buy at health food stores. That works well and it smells fine.
