Well, how was it? :-)

It's a beauty, None of my veggies did well this year. Maters got rot from to much rain and to many cloudy days. Maybe next year will be better if I did a garden at all.

So how did it turn out?

Well dadgummit ya'll, my husband told my mother about the melon and she's made me promise not to open it until tomorrow when she and my father are coming for lunch, LOL! Oh well, perhaps the anticipation will make for a better melon???? I have to admit though..... that melon REALLY stares at me when I open the fridge! Pray for strength for me ;). I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Well, it was delicious :). Glad it's as large as it is, will be able to enjoy it for a couple of days. Also noticed the second one had slipped from the vine this morning, so it's taken up residence in the fridge with it's buddy :). I may turn into a melon before we're done with them!
