Make sure they have excellent drainage and water them only when the soil is dry (maybe once a week if it's indoors).

I agree with the poster above and was also wondering if it's getting enough light for good health. My hens n chicks are outside, some in dappled sun and some get several hours of sun. Also some varieties tend to lose leaves giving them loooong necks so it may a natural thing that's going on.

Anybody else have any ideas?
