Fordhook Giant tastes milder to me and better than Bright Lights, when I got it to germinate, I am chard challenged!

I'm always grown it from seed. It is very easy to start and grow.

Regular and Bright Lights. They taste the same to me. We eat it raw in salads and in smoothies. Never cook it at our house.

I like both Fordhook giant and rhubarb better than bright lights. The bright lights seem bland, without as much flavor. I liked Scarlet Charlotte by Renee's Garden seed co. NIce pink/scarlet and NICE green and nice flavor. The large leaves on the Fordhook giant are great for wrapping things like Dolmas and "(ex)Cabbage rolls"
