Bees are robbed of their honey and fed corn syrup instead. On top of every thing else is there any wonder they are weak?

Sounds like something Monsanto would come up with.

The biggest reason bees, Monarchs, and other pollinators are in serious decline is because companies like Monsanto make Genetically Modified Crops (GMO's) that are immune to pesticides and herbicides that are sprayed on them, but kill everything else. In addition, these GMO crops do not need pollinators and are probably designed to kill pollinators so to prevent a natural way for nature to diffuse the genetic make up of these plants. What better way to control the food supply by patenting the crops that do not reseed, that your required to buy rather than save back seeds for next years crop, and that kill pollinators like bees, because even if you have a non-GMO crop, you may not have a pollinator like a bee to actually make the crop a reality because a company like Monsanto killed them all off.

Another problem with the present wide spread use of neonicotinoids by farmers is that the pesticides are so effective at killing insects that they kill not the target pests, but also the bugs that the birds rely on to feed their chicks leading to a marked decline in song birds, as well as to the decline of bees and beneficial insects that prey on pests, plus butterflies.

The U. S. government has banned the use the bee killing pesticide neonicotinoid and GMOs on national wildlife refuges.

Also Sevin is one of the most lethal insecticides for bees. It not only kills the adult bee, but kills bee larvae when it is carried back to the hive on the feet of the forager bees.
