Redbud Tree

I have a mature Redbud Tree that's looking "funny". The leaves on the branches that don't get a ton of sun are starting to show the problem, those further out (that get more sun) are looking funny. I've been here almost 10 years, and I've never seen this before.

A mite? Can't think of the name, maybe spider mites?

Joy. How does one treat a tree for spider mites? I'm assuming I can't just ignore it and hope it goes away.

I'd spray the underside of the leaves with sea weed solution applied with a Gilmore hose end sprayer several times three or four days apart. Just spraying the underside of the leaves with water three times three days apart has been said to disrupt their breeding schedule. Sea weed worked best for me and feeds plants making them better able to tolerate high heat and disease according to the folks at Antique Rose Emporium. That's all they ever sprayed their roses with.
