Crepe Myrtle has lost its Leaves

I planted a small crepe myrtle last year. It came back this spring though not quite as nice as it was probably due to the deep freezes. It was hanging on through July..but leaves were falling off..yesterday I noticed it was down to one leaf.

If there any chance for revival?

I'd mulch it & water it & keep it watered;
this summer has stressed everything, but crepe myrtles are very robust.
