| I got a small start of a low-growing (actually ground hugging) groundcover, but I don't know the name or anything else about it. It was growing in full sun, dry conditions but it looked great, creating a tight silver mass of foliage. Any ideas of ID?

| Wow, a positive ID already!!! Thank you both very much. That is absolutely the plant I have. I think I will keep it in a container until next spring, then plant some of it in my flowerbed along the driveway which gets pretty hot in the summer. Do either of you grow it? thanks again, |

| Yes, I have quite a bit of it in containers. It makes a great trailing container plant, but does wilt in the sun and needs a good bit of water this time of year so I don't plant it in the ground. I protect it during freezes and it does die back some, but will return unless the roots freeze. |

| It comes and goes in my garden. I do not provide winter protection, fertilizer or any extra care. I guess I'm a bad "father". Omar |
