| I was so happy to see my banana tree developing a nice little bunch of bananas, but in researching growing bananas I read that Rojo does not produce edible fruit. I am not positive this is a Rojo, so I will let the bananas ripen and try to figure that out later. Has anybody had a similar experience with Rojo?

| I've never had a bloom on mine. Beautiful bloom! I read that the fruits aren't edible too but are very decorative :-) Probably couldn't ripen outside of a greenhouse anyway. I also read that the fruits take 9 months to ripen. |

| Wow - beautiful bloom on beautiful Rojo banana trees! I don't have an answer to your question, but wanted to say thanks for posting the photos. |
