Wow, I don't think I've ever had even four feeding at the same time - they're usually too busy trying to drive each other off.

Marti, I had to take that photo from indoors. They scatter somewhat when they see me or my shadow. They chase each other off, but when there are so many coming in, they kind of give up on that idea....they just want to eat!

We've had some visitors join in lately also! Nice to see the males with red throats...although that doesn't look red in this pic!

The activity at my house was greater this morning than I have seen all year.

We seem to have 2 in our yard constantly for the past few weeks. One tiny one has claimed the crape myrtle tree where she can see and chase away any others that come in the yard.

Wow! Thank you for posting. We've had a couple all summer. Nothing like this. Have seen the first Monarchs this week.
