I used to grow lots of roses in Ohio, but here in TX, the deer just love them, that ssid the Lady Banksia roses seem to be deer resistant, don't think there are evergreen ones, I put mine in the greenhouse, hence, they are evergreen.

Old Blush climber is Evergreen unless there is a really really harsh winter.

My Lady Banks up here North of DFW stays green with the exception of ice storms.

Lady Banks, Mermaid, & Seafoam all have been evergreen or nearly evergreen for me in 8a immediately south of Dallas.

Lots of the china roses will be just about evergreen. Cramoisi Superior, Ducher, Jean Bach Sisley (this may be a tea rose but it acts like and looks like a china rose), are some good ones. Chamblee's rose nursery has china roses, you should check out their site. They ship great roses at wonderful prices. Just don't expect to find any china roses at the big box stores.

I agree with Cathy regarding most china roses being almost evergreen here. That has been my experience too. In addition to Chambleees, The Antique Rose Emporium also has a great selection of them.
