Fanick's nursery has named plumeria

Went to Fanick's nursery this week to buy vegs. they had 5 gallon named plumeria for $49.99. Some were 5 ft and blooming. Just thought I would spread the word. We also bought 5 variegated plumeria, I could not believe my eyes when I saw them. What a rare find. We also bought a xanthosoma atrovirens, 7 gallon for $15, talk about a conversation plant. I can't wait to plant that one at the coast. It looks so much like an elephant ear, with tattered edges, really strange looking plant, but striking colors. Barbra

Sounds like you made some great finds! I've never heard of Xanthosoma atrovirens so I looked it up. Yes, it is a strange and exotic looking plant. I love it. Jim, do you have that one in your elephant pen?

Here is a link that might be useful: Xanthosoma atrovirens. Click on photos to enlarge.
