Growing "Yankee" bulbs in Texas. ;)

I have hyacinth, paperwhites, and something else delicate looking. I'm south of Houston and I do container gardening only. Should I pop those bulbs into a pot now or do I need to freeze them first? Thanks!

Paperwhites do fine down here, just plant them up. You don`t want to freeze the rest, just put them in the veggie bin for a few months. Be prepared to lose a few of the hyacinths though, I just treat them as an annual down here, even digging and storing in the veggie bin never had luck carrying them over year after year.
