 o
nurseries in Houston area?

I will be in the Houston/Galveston area in late November and would like to visit some nurseries that sell tropical plants - Aroids, orchids, etc. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good place to visit?

Thanks!
Zach

Zone 9 Tropicals is a great place for specialty tropicals. They are only open on weekends and usually not open on holiday weekends although you might try calling. The business is based at his home and he has another job as well. Every possible inch of space in the yard is stuffed with the most awesome plants. If you have a chance, definitely worth the visit.

Here is a link that might be useful: Zone 9 Tropicals
