Thanks, Jim! Last week (even though many of these self-seed) I sowed swiss chard, cilantro, blue flax, california poppies, breadseed poppies, larkspur and borage. I will save tithonia, datura and a few others for winter sowing.

I sowed dill, chard, Italiam parsley, radishes, and beets last week.

This Monday I turned into a gambler or you might say a fool and planted 4 tomato plants.

Hey, I was thinking. Since bread poppie seeds are on the spice isle...have any of you bought them to plant?

Penzey's spices just came to Arlington. I was thinking about buying a bag. Since that's their business they should be fresh right? Just remember I live in DFW and I just planted tomato plants. I might not be wise.
