Well, how I wish I could have been there, soxxx........I am a firm believer that one man's (or woman's) junk is another man's treasure. I curb shop a lot, and would have loved to have one of your treasures. What a great day it must have been.

I am sorta still in the dark ages. I do not own a camera.
DD and DGD do,so maybe they will take some photos and learn to post them for me.

An idea I have for when friends drop by to look at the yard, is to have a stake with a sign saying TAKE ME HOME in pots of plants that I no longer want or just want to share.

Wish I had thought of that before last Wednesday.

If it weren't for the boyfriend I probably wouldn't have a phone! I HATE to talk on the phone, as a matter of fact I forgot it today, it's plugged in at home. Talking on the phone for a living the last thing I want to do is talk to anyone for any reason once I get off.

My garden club is planning to have a "gardener's garage sale" some time in the spring - I would love to have some new junk in place of my old junk!

Speaking of junk - I have to say I have been very disappointed in some of the bird feeders I bought at Home Goods - they were labeled "Gardener's Eden" (the defunct store) so I thought they'd be good - instead the "wood" on them is layered and came apart in the rain, after less than a year of use. BUMMER! Any advice? Do I have to urethane all stuff I buy before I put it out?
