It did really good the first year. Then I decided to move it somewhere else, and have never had a good year with it since. I'm beginning to think the seeds don't keep well, or at least, mine didn't. I did learn that you should wait until at least May to plant because they don't do well with cold nights.

And where would one get seeds or cuttings?? Is it fairly drought tolerant or does it need evenly moist soil? How aggressive is the vine?

Weldon, I got my seeds from an on-line store. I don't know about drought tolerance because I water regularly. The vine likes full sun, gets big, and doesn't bloom til fall. It is Ipomoea lobata now, used to be Mina lobata.
