Can someone help ID this tree please? This is from my cousin's front yard in Charlotte, NC. It was in their yard before they moved in and she was trying to ID it. I took a picture and thought my friends here on the forum may be able to Id. I was there over the weekend, really nice weather during the day, got a bit chilly in the evenings. Thanks.

| My first impression is Purple leaf plum. There are several varieties. They are generally grown for their spring flowers and beautiful purple foliage, not particularly for fruit. |
