I have a friend here in North Texas (also named Barbara) who had the same thing happen to her this morning.
She became aware of it when she received an email from herself.

Barbra, I knew when it came in that your email address had been hacked. It happens so often. So computer experts -- what do we do now? A friend of mine with a Yahoo account merely had to change her password. She didn't have to get a new email address.

Oh no! I hope this gets cleared up soon.

I just deleted mine.

Typically when the email account has been highjacked, the best course of action is to update your Virus/spyware/Malware software and run a scan to verify that your computer is clean. Have you been able to run the McAfee scan yet? If your computer is clean, log in and reset your email password.

Kathy told me to do the Mc Afee virus scan, it took over 3 hrs to complete and it found 4 virus files, and tracking cookings, and it fixed them, so I think everything is ok, thanks to Kathy. Barbra
