| Can anyone identify this fern by its correct name? It's stems are thorny.

Maybe asparagus plumosus, Asparagus fern, Emerald fern. Jim |

| Remember when that was the foliage on Mothers' day corsages? At least that was what was used in the valley when I was a kid. |

| Yeah, me too. It was used in lots of flower shop arrangements. |

| They used them all over The Valley I lived in too :) Baskets of it, pots of it, corsages with it, and floral arrangements too. It sure was popular. I'll bet it makes a comeback with the mid century modern phase we're hitting.... again. |

| The Emerald fern is blooming! BTW, it's not a true fern or it wouldn't bloom. I just posted a picture of the blooms on the Texas Gallery and am shamelessly reminding you all to go there once in a while and check out the photos :-) |
