We got a good 14 hours of rain on the island! Woo-hoo! I had to bring in the baby chicks cause everything was flooded & wet. RAIN! Woo-hoo!
Hopefully this storm off Mexico will bring us more rain, at least parts of Texas anyway, later in the week.

Over two days, we got 4.7" here in Alvin. I have trade plants to plant, but decided to spend the day pulling weeds. They are coming up easy.

well Jim- the phillipine violet the white one is blooming and in the ground- I waited until the rain stopped and out most of it all in! Hoping the morning glory bush blooms soon! thank you so very much!
and we got 3 inches of rain- still need more but I will take it!
