C5 lights might work though I'm sure icicle lights would work also.

Ragna, I use the large old-fashioned kind.

Marti, I want to drap them through my 'shoe string acacia' tree and cover with a blanket. The tree is said to be hardy down to 15 degrees, but has stood much colder in Austin, but since I just planted it this year I want to protect it if we get to the mid teens for several days like last year.

Patty, I don't have any of the old fashioned kind. If you see some at a garage sale or thrift shop get some for me.

Or can you still buy them at the stores???
