I am pruning back my Margurite sweet potato vine. Some of the vines have roots.
If you want any, let me know and I will pot them.
Right now I have them in water.

Yea Kathy! I'd like to have one :-)

After seeing how easy the leaf of Pink Firespike rooted on that post I've cut off and stuck all the non blooming stems of my plant, which is new for me this year.

I'm also going to root a few Night Blooming Jasmine for the swap.

Also I'm attempting to root Velvet Pod Mimosa. Don't know how successful that will be.

Oh, and I'm trying for the Orchid tree (small tree) with very large white flowers. It has lots of flowers, but has never set seed

BTW, we're not going to call our San Antonio Plant Swap the SAPS???

We could designate it the GW SAPS :-)

I, for one, like it! Anybody else?

You have pink firespike? If so root one for me!

I have the red and it is really pretty right now.

I think GW SAPS is a great idea.
So that is 2 votes.

Okay Kathy! You get the biggest and the bestest one! :-) My plant has big buds. I'll post a picture when it blooms. Since it was given to me this spring I've never seen it in flower.

Okay -- two votes for GW SAPS!

RE: Re: SA TGW spring swap

Make it three votes.
Again this swap I won't have much but I'm still bringing my charming personality and mindless chatter.
You just wait till the next fall swap!

Make that 4 votes.

And would somebody remind me what the name is of that violet plant is we talked about at the last swap, PLEASE.

RE: Re: SA TGW spring swap

Are you referring to the Philipine violet?

Photos 8 and 9 on this Texas Gallery thread are of Philippine violets :-)

Here is a link that might be useful: Some pretties ...
