Right next to my house is a big draw, or ditch. The graywater from my house empties into the side of the draw. It is a very wooded area with pines, oaks, sweetgum, yaupon holly and many other trees and shrubs in the area. The outlet for the pipe is back in the woods and very shaded.
I am interested in planting a nut, berry and/or ornamental tree or shrub close to the outlet. Of course, it would need to be used to having wet feet most of the time.
I would prioritize to having the nut, then the berry then the ornamental.
