Marti, another thought...does the other cutting look wilted at all? If it does, cut another slice from the bottom. I cut those just before the swap and plunged them into water, then wrapped in the wet paper towel. It may not be uptaking the water.
Hey Pam if you're interested, I found a good source of donkey manure yesterday. Its good for mulching brugs in the ground over winter. Shes a nurse and she lives between Springtown and Azle. I promised her I'd come and get a truckload soon. Cheryl
I always like poo :-) I get cow poo from one friend and donkey poo from Carrie and mix it into my compost heap. I can sure use some if she has more than she wants. I'm going to Carrie's on Saturday and will get a few feed bags full, but a truckload...wow :-)
This lady is a radiology tech at my oncologists office. She does all my CT scans. So she and I were talking about gardening last week and she said she lives between Springtown and Azle and keeps a small herd of mini donkeys. I just had scope surgery on my left knee but soon as I'm back up I'm gonna call her and see how much poop she'll give me.
