Plant ID please

I posted this on the "Name that Plant" forum, but haven't got a positive ID yet. They identified it as a species of Helianthus, but do you know which one? I thought maybe Maximilian sunflower, but the leaves don't look right.

I have Max sunflowers and it's definitely not that. Leaves are way too glossy and not curved (bowed??) (don't know a botanical term for it).That said I don't know what it is.

Did you try cross posting to the native plants forum as well? Maybe someone there will know.
