Yes, ma'am! I didn't mean to plant cilantro, but apparently I did because I have a ton of it in the garden; all about 6 inches or so.

Thank you. I guess I had a 'massive' crop failure this year. So many usually sprout that I have to pull most of them out. Off to buy some plants.

Only a very few self-seeding cilantro have become visible in just the last couple of days in my flower beds. You may want to wait a few days before you purchase plants.

I always save my seeds and plant them as soon as it starts to cool off. mine our only about 3 inches tall so far. But it should not be too late to still plant more seeds. Mine have wintered over before and done fine as it started to warm up in our early spring.

Yea! I have some cilantro sprouts!!! They don't even have secondary leaves, but a taste of the primary leaf confirms what they are. I'm especially glad these are coming back because I mail ordered the original slow to bolt variety seeds.

I need that slow to bolt variety. Mine have gone to seed before I can get any tomatoes to make salsa with!

Lynmarie, I'm not sure they persist long enough to see the tomatoes ripen, but I'll make a note of when they bolt next year and let you know. If it is late enough I can send you some seeds.

I was pleased to see a scattering of cilantro that had self-seeded a few weeks ago but the little plants are gone now - bet the snails got them again.
