Fall Color in Texas

The tree in front is 'Fire Dragon' Shantung maple and in the back, it's just a regular Shantung maple with typical nice yellow fall color. Seemed a little late but last year was pretty early.

I am noticing pretty nice red fall color on Red oak trees in Dallas area right now. I managed to spot very nice looking mature Japanese maple with excellent red fall color in my town Midlothian and also another nice red one in Waxahachie when I passed through town. It was very noticeable.

RE: Fall Color in Texas

Very nice. I found a rainbow tree in my neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. (It had sections of red, yellow, orange, and green on it!) Should have snapped a pic. It has been a pretty fall this year.
