We're gonna have an exhibit opening up at the end of July '13 called Savage Gardens. I have been taking care of several carnivorous plants that will be showcased in the exhibit. Well what do you know a female and male plant both bloomed at the same time.

Nepenthes 'Poi dog'. Poi dog in Hawaii means a dog you don't know the lineage considering it was unlabeled. This is the female :-)

Nepenthes 'Miranda.' This is the pitcher plant you'll usually see sold in the stores around San Antonio. As you probably deduced by now, this one is the male. Yes...male lol. A gentleman named it after his wife.
