Hello!!!
I just relocated to Mesquite Tx and was curious if anyone knows of any good nurseries in or around Mesquite. I know there is Calloways up the road from me, but I like to know others as well.

Thanks ahead of time!

Rhodes in Garland. Lots of organics, and native plants and great prices.

Here is a link that might be useful: Rhodes Nursery

Redenta's in Dallas is close to you. Great selection of hard to find perennials.

HEY! I live in Mesquite too! There aren't really and "good local" nurseries in Mesquite proper that I know of, but there are several nearby. If you go down HWY 80 east, there is one in Forney on the right, but I forgot the name of it. Rhodes is good too. They are the only place I can find that has pine straw. And there is one in Rockwall too that is good, but alas, old age has robbed me of their name too. Just google nurseries and a map should pop up.

ditto rohde's - just not their trees, which are *all* pot-bound with girdled roots - they often have local natives that others don't

No one has mentioned Organic Dynamics on Belt Line south of Cartwright - great people, great service. It's a small, local business and the owners live in Mesquite as well.

    Covingtons http://www.covingtonnursery.com/
on the Rockwall/Rowlett border at the corner of GB and Hwy 66 is great. Organic Dynamics http://organicdynamics.com/
on the edge of Mesquite/Balch Springs doesn't have a great selection, but their prices are reasonable. My favorite place, though, is Northaven Gardens in NE Dallas, off 75. http://www.nhg.com/
