Sooooo most of you know this is my first year gardening and I've been asking alot of questions. Anyway, all my Alliums are coming up, the big ones (globe master, mount everst, purple sensation) and the little ones (drumstick, etc). I planted about 40 of them and I am seeing growth at all the sites I planted, not just a little bit either - that growth in the picture is about 4 to 5 inches! I even have a pot of bulbs with tulips, daffs, and crocus - there is a little green bud coming out of it, don't know what it is yet, but should it be there?! All of my Lousiana Iris are coming up too! What's going on? Is this normal??

I really thought everything was supposed to be brown and crunchy right now and not doing anything for atleast another month. Again, I'm new so if this is normal, I won't flip out next year.
