Ranunculus as winder indoor plant

I saw a golden Ranunculus last spring at my friends. He puts it in his heated kitten with little light. The plant is dying but I am still impressed with the large and delicate flowers. They have so many petals. It is such a lovely plant.

I live in a low-budget and poorly heated apartment. The temperature is between 40 and 55 most of the winter. I suffered from the cold. But many of my plants loved it. My cyclamens are jumping out of their pots with their fully spelled leaves. Believe or not, I find their flowers are damaged if the temperature drops below 40. Azaleas are flowering for almost 3 months now. I do have to salvage my Phal orchid to my office. She lost 4 out of 6 leaves before I saved her in mid-December.

I heard Ranunculus like cool. I could not find any in local Walmart or HD.
