moonflowers and morning glories

I've read that I need to begin germinating my moonflower seeds NOW if they are to flower during my shorter zone 5 growing season. I won't begin germinating my morning glory (heavenly blue) seeds until May 2. By then, the moonflowers will hopefully already be green and thriving indoors. Does this rule out mixing the moonflowers with morning glories in large containers?

You can start inside at different times and transplant to the same large container when you put outside.
