Anyone starting seeds indoors yet?

I know its too early for tomatoes and such, but I've already got some pepper seeds in starter mix and also Verbena Bonariensis for the flower garden. From what I've heard, both can take quite a while to germinate. I've planted both a week ago, and no signs of life yet, but I'm not giving up. :)

Most of my seed orders have arrived. I plan on growing some tomatoes (Brandywine and Mortgage Lifter) and some peas, soybeans, cucumbers and lettuces. I have a small city lot and get sun in only one small area, so I'm very limited on how much I can grow, unfortunately.

New for this year are raised beds, which will be filled with lovely top soil. I'm sick of trying to augment my clay soil which tomatoes seem to really dislike.

Anyway, this forum is so quiet, I couldn't resist posting something. Anyone else starting seeds? Any plans for the upcoming spring?
