Very nice visit, Aurore! The Garden Show this weekend at Hudson Valley can't compare to the Philadelphia one.. Do they have lectures? I thought our lectures were a little disappointing on Friday, but I am going for more today, very curious about Roger Swain and his 2 presentations today..

I was considering taking a bus trip that the local garden club was sponsoring to the Troy garden show on Friday, but then my tooth broke and so I needed the money for that instead. Yes the Philly show has some lectures and demonstrations. I didn't go to any (too much to see and too little time). They did some talks on flower arranging and a talk on growing roses, also one on modern day plant hunters and I think some cooking demonstrations. There's was a booth manned by PennState College of Agricultural Sciences/ Burkes County Cooperative Extension that would try to answer any gardening problems you might have. I think I'll try to look them up on the internet and see if they have a website where you can ask them questions.
